Selena wrote a blog on her Facebook earlier today, saying what a wonderful time she had on tour and how she is now off to Budapest to start filming Monte Carlo. It’s such a sweet blog and as you know July is a big month for Selena, so expect her back in America and better than ever!

“Thank you all so much!

Spain, France, U.K., Germany– Thank you all so much for making me feel so at home while I was on this promo tour. Putting out an album has always been a dream of mine, getting to tour that album all over the world and meeting my fans everywhere was apart of that dream, I can not express how grateful I am for this experience, for my album, for the tour and most of all for all of YOU… I hope you all enjoy the record, I cannot wait to make it back out to see you guys and hopefully do some shows!

America– I had a wonderful time in Europe but, I do miss home very, very much. I am very excited to start working again and I couldn’t pick a better place to live while I shoot my movie BUT I also can’t wait to get back to see all of my family, friends, and fans!

The rest of the world– I hope to come visit you all very soon so I can meet everyone and see all the beautiful places there are out there!

Thank you all so much for your continued love and support it allows me to be able to do what I love to do and I thank you for that. You are all the greatest fans ever. EVER.

I am off to Budapest to work on my newest adventure.. my movie “Monte Carlo”!! I am very excited to meet the cast and get started on this great movie. I don’t know how much internet access I am going to have while I am gone but I will do my best to keep in touch as often as I can and try and send some pictures too. Thank you all again and I will see you in July!

Selena Gomez Shocked She Has So Many UK Fans

Selena Gomez is shocked to have so many fans in the UK.

The ‘Naturally’ singer is in England this week promoting her forthcoming debut album ‘Kiss & Tell’ and on Monday (April 5), she performed a sold-out show in London.

Talking about the headline concert – her first ever in the city – Selena admits that she was blown away by the reception her fans gave her.

“I have never had a show that wonderful. It was amazing,” Gomez gushed about her overseas fans. “My album’s not even out yet and everyone knew every single word to my songs.

“To be honest, I didn’t know I had fans that weren’t in America. Being able to come here and meet the people that we enjoy making laugh on our show and enjoy making music for was amazing, it was really wonderful.”

Selena, star of ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, added: “After the show last night, I just want to live here basically! It was amazing. The audience were really appreciative of the music and my band and I, so it was really great.”

Demi Lovato, was among a handful of Latino celebrities on set, Sunday January 10, 2010, shooting the Voto Latino ‘Be Counted’ PSA. The PSA is an effort to get Latino-Americans counted in the 2010 Census. According to the organization’s website “Latinos have been historically under-counted by the Census and Voto Latino wants to help ensure that the 2010 Census results in a more accurate picture of the Latino community and America at large.” The Census, which must happen every 10 years, makes every effort to count every American. The celebrity-packed ‘Be Counted’ PSA is just one way Voto Latino is hoping to get out the word. Other celebrities in the PSA include Rosario Dawson, Puerto Rican actor Luis Guzman, That ’70’s Show star Wilmer Valderrama, Mexican-born singer Graciela Beltran, Ana Ortiz among others.
