Bridgit Mendler opens up about voicing the title character for The Secret World of Arrietty in this new interview.

The 19-year-old actress shared of her character, Arrietty: “She has a big sense of adventure. There are times when she acts more mature than her age, but there are also times where you can see she’s still a kid.”

Bridgit added, “She meets this human — out of her curiosity and accidentally revealing herself to him a little bit. She’s an exceptional gal, makes good friendships and is very caring.”

The Secret World of Arrietty opens everywhere this Friday, February 17th. Check out David Henrie’s interview inside!

Arrietty (Bridgit Mendler) and Shawn (David Henrie) share a moment in this new clip from The Secret World of Arrietty.

Disney and Studio Ghibli have teamed up for the U.S. version of the film — which was adapted from Mary Norton‘s “The Borrowers” which opens February 17th.

The animated featured centers on miniscule people who attempt to hide their existence and ‘borrow’ items from human beings in order to survive. Life changes for the Clocks when their daughter, Arrietty, is discovered.

David paid a visit to Fantasy Factory where he got to do some pretty cool tricks with Drama. Fanlala was there catching up with David and thanks to them we have a couple of pictures which are now in the gallery!

Before jetting off to Europe, Selena Gomez had a chance to sit down with Ernie D at the Radio Disney studios in Burbank, Calif, to chat about her series, being complicated and her love for Paris. Check out what the 17-year-old actress had to say during her take over:

On how she perceives herself: “I’m not simple. I think I’m as complicated as it can get, to be honest. I over-analyze things. I constantly am thinking about the next thing and what the future is rather than just enjoying it, which is my biggest lesson. I need to find someone that can just calm me down from that, because I’m constantly everywhere.”

On a crazy episode idea she had for Wizards: On the show, I would like to guest star as myself. I would like to be on my show as Selena Gomez just for fun. David [Henrie] and I were talking about this and we actually thought it would be funny if Justin was a huge Selena Gomez fan…We want that to happen just because it would be great to play around with.”

On what European city she’s looking forward to seeing: “I’m excited to visit Paris because I hear it’s romantic, so I’ll probably feel very alone. But, it will be fun! It will be fun to go be there and experience it, so I’m going to be excited for that.”

The Streamy Awards took place a couple of hours ago and Easy To Assemble took home the award for Best Ensemble Cast! Congrats to David, the cast and everyone involved in making Easy To Assemble happen!

Popstar! Magazine is having their 9th Annual Popstar! Poptastic Awards and David has been nominated for two of them: “TV Actor” and “Male Hottie”. WOWP has also been nominated for “TV Show”. Voting can be done by filling out the ballot on Popstar’s May Issue, they’re also posting polls every day for different categories, I will try to let you guys know when his are up!

Wizards Of Waverly Place actress Jennifer Stone has reportedly praised co-star Selena Gomez.

The 17-year-old, who plays Harper Finkle in the Disney series, told Girl 2 Watch that she is close to Gomez (Alex Russo) in real life.

“Selena is great. She’s become one of my best friends and we have a very good working relationship as well as off screen. She’s just a very, very sweet girl,” Just Jared quotes her as saying.

Stone also praised fellow co-star David Henrie (Justin Russo), saying: “[He's] been in the business for a long time and he’s an old pro and he knows what he’s doing. He’s got a great sense of humor so I like laughing with David. It’s always fun.”
