Joe Jonas wants to re-connect with his ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato. The Jonas Brother recently revealed that he’d like to be friends with the former Sonny With A Chance star again.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato referred to each other as best friends before their messy break up. Of course, Joe would miss that friendship. Now that Demi has gotten help, and seems to be on the right track in her life, Jonas is reaching out to his former girlfriend.

“I haven’t seen Demi in awhile, but I hope I see [her] soon because even if the media says we’re angry, it’s not true,” Jonas said. “I can’t say what will happen in the future, so as I’ve made changes in my musical life…I can tell you that I will recover the close friendship I had with Demi.”

Could it be that seeing how well Lovato is doing, and how great she looks has triggered old feelings in Joe? “Jemi” was a fan favorite couple, perhaps they will reunite. Either way Demi Lovato will likely be happy to call Joe Jonas her friend once again.

Demi Lovato insists she’s, like, totally surprised by all the attention to her Romance with Joe Jonas you have been getting.

“It’s really crazy,” Lovato, 17, told me AT the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. “I definitely did not expect this AT all. But, you know, I’m going through it with my best friend under it’s pretty awesome. I think it was just Time to sees open and not hide anything.”
