Selena Gomez, Jake T. Austin and David Henrie suit back up in their cow-astronaut suits in this new still from Wizards of Waverly Place.

In the upcoming episode “Wizards vs. Asteroid,” After reports there is an asteroid heading toward Earth, the Russo’s plan to escape through the Wizard portal to safety.

When the time comes to leave, Alex (Gomez), Justin (Henrie) and Max (Austin) choose to stay behind and use their magic to blast into space and try to save the world from the asteroid.

Meanwhile, Alex has to keep her parents from finding out she may not be graduating high school.

WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE – “Beast Tamer” – After Mason ignores Alex’s invitation to the Beast Bowl because he’s working on a secret anniversary gift for her, Alex goes with her brothers. At the dance, Alex meets Chase Riprock (Nick Roux), the undefeated beast tamer who has a crush on her. Meanwhile, Justin and Max get kicked out of the show for disturbing the beast, but find themselves participating in the show after all, in a new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place,” premiering FRIDAY, JUNE 24 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Meanwhile, Max performs a spell that accidentally turns his parents into four-year-olds, in a new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place,” premiering FRIDAY, JUNE 17 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE – “Zeke Finds Out” – After Zeke attempts a magic trick and fails, Alex uses her powers to make him think he is a real magician. But the gesture backfires when Zeke really believes he is a wizard, in a new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place,” premiering Friday, April 8, 2011 at 8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT on the Disney Channel.

Wizards Of Waverly Place actress Jennifer Stone has reportedly praised co-star Selena Gomez.

The 17-year-old, who plays Harper Finkle in the Disney series, told Girl 2 Watch that she is close to Gomez (Alex Russo) in real life.

“Selena is great. She’s become one of my best friends and we have a very good working relationship as well as off screen. She’s just a very, very sweet girl,” Just Jared quotes her as saying.

Stone also praised fellow co-star David Henrie (Justin Russo), saying: “[He's] been in the business for a long time and he’s an old pro and he knows what he’s doing. He’s got a great sense of humor so I like laughing with David. It’s always fun.”
